About Davey

I am Davey, a wedding and portrait photographer who loves capturing real moments filled with joy for couples and families. With more than twenty years of experience and over three hundred weddings photographed, I focus on creating joyful, vivid, and timeless images that reflect your personality and the love you share.

On the wedding day I handle the photography, while my wife Marissa plays an essential role in making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. She meets with couples to design their wedding albums, manages the business in the background, and cares for social media, client communication, and all the meaningful details that help your experience feel thoughtful and personal.

Our faith is the foundation of our work. We give all glory to God for every gift and opportunity, and we see photography as a way to honor Him by capturing the love, beauty, and joy He has created in each moment.

As a dad to two sweet boys, Ansel and Harrison, I know how quickly life changes. I love photographing the little in between moments, the giggles, cuddles, and playful energy that make every family unique. Our home is also full of laughter thanks to our three cats named Frankie, Pancake, and Honey.
At weddings I work alongside talented second photographers who share my passion for excellence and storytelling. Together we make sure every moment is beautifully preserved, from the biggest celebrations to the smallest details.

When I am not behind the camera, our family loves exploring together, playing board games, visiting zoos because Marissa loves cheetahs and elephants, listening to music, and enjoying time outdoors and mountain biking.

I am based in Greenville, SC, and I love traveling for photography adventures. Whether it is a dreamy destination wedding, a cozy family session in your backyard, or love stories across the world, I am always excited to go where your story leads. I have photographed incredible moments in more than a dozen states and eleven countries, from the romantic streets of Paris to bright vineyards in France, from breathtaking views in the Italian Alps captured by drone, to peaceful boat sessions in Vermont. I have even taken photos from helicopters and planes including a World War Two aircraft.
